Our story
It all began with two swipes! We went on our first date, became facebook official, hillwalked,
had our first holiday in Barcelona, endured the COVID restrictions, bought our first house, went to Skye,
travelled the NC500 in a campervan, went to Crete and skied.
We travelled to Lewis and Harris and explored some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This is where David made plans to propose to Emily which after an
aborted hillwalk ended up happening on Luskentyre Beach. This place now holds a special meaning for us both.

General Information
The ceremony & reception will all be held within the same building, with the ceremony being indoors. The venue has a Garden Lounge Bar and
private garden which will be available for guests to enjoy.
We are more than happy for you to capture photos of our big day, but we request that no photos are taken during the ceremony. We kindly request that no photos are uploaded to socials until the following day.
The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 1:30pm so please ensure that you arrive no later than 1:00pm to be seated on time.

Getting There & Parking
The Brig O'Doon House Hotel is in Alloway which is situated approximately 10 minutes drive from the centre of Ayr.
Update advice for anyone intending parking in Ayr Rugby car park. We have permission to use the Ayr Rugby car park which now has a new car entrance. This new entrance is accessed at the entrance to the Burns Museum off of Murdloch Lone. Turn left coming from Glasgow and follow the new road ahead which takes you round the back of the club house to a gravelly car park. You can still walk down to the Brig o Doon at the side of the gate at the old entrance. Though please note this is still a gravelly path so anyone in high heels may be best to get dropped off.
There is parking available in other locations nearby too and some on street parking.
Staying The Night
Our venue has limited accomodation available for our guests however the RAD Group have a sister hotel in Ayr, the Fairfield Hotel, which have accomodation for our guests on a first come first serve basis. Alternatively guests can look at the range of accomodations available within the surrounding area and Ayr.
We weren't able to reserve rooms in the Fairfield Hotel so please book early if you know you can make it, and want to stay here.
